Ward Campout

This past weekend was the ward campout. Keaton and I went up with my parents to Sharp Creek, which is just a little east of Payson and Christopher Creek. We were at a very nice group campground area, and I think we had a pretty decent showing for the ward. My dad picked a nice spot to set up the "Castle on the Hill". We were just a little ways away from all the comotion and could look down at everything going on. The weather was beautiful, I would have stayed a week if I could. Anyone else want to move to a small town in the mountains with me?

Here is a recap of all the things Keaton did on his first real time camping.

Unloaded the car

Acted silly

Played baseball

Roasted marshmellows

Played in the tent (don't know why it's sideways)

Hungout with grandpa

Took pictures of mom and grandma in the tent.

Looked at spiders and ants

Flew a kite

Bonded with a friend.

Threw a fit

Made new friends and played games

Helped pack up

Stopped at the fish hatchery

Saw some trout

Fed the fish

Was tortured by my mom who just kept taking pictures of me.
And loved every minute of being outdoors!

Loved this post! You totally told it how it goes with kids and I'm not even a Mom yet and thought it was hilarious! Keaton definitely has a mind of his own. Can't believe how big he is getting.
